What Is A Franchise?

A franchise is licensing system by which the franchise company allows their name, brand, system, and product to be used based on a set of guidelines, enabling the small business owner to immediately build brand identity and to attain market dominance quickly!  Franchises offer a wide array of benefits to entreprenuers to include: training, start-up assistance, purchasing power, marketing programs, tested operating systems, and continued support.

Over 3,000 franchise concepts are available today spanning over 230 sectors within 18 industries.  Franchises are responsible for generating approximately $12 trillion dollars a year while employing over 12 million people.

What Are The Benefits Of Being A Franchise Owner?

How Can I Get Access To Financing To Purchase My Own Franchise?

As a veteran you will qualify for the Patriot Express Loan Program, a loan guarantee program offered by the SBA up to $500k.  The Patriot Express Loan Program provides veteran entreprenuers with access to the capital you need in order to start or expand your business.  For loans under $175k, the SBA will guarantee 85% of the loan amount to the lender.  For loans between the amount of $175k and $500k, the SBA will guarantee 75% of the loan amount to the lender.  Patriot Express loans feature an interest rate of 2.25% to 4.75% over prime depending on the size and the maturity of the loan.
